Online qualifier, January 2027
Online entries will be submitted securely and judged anonymously. The five highest-scoring competitors in each category advance to its California final based on placement, without a separate minimum-score cutoff for this step. Nine categories use supervised latex online; the combined Henna / Dye / Lamination category uses Zoom-supervised live-model work.
04
International advancement
At the California final, categories with at least five paid competitors may award first, second and third place and qualify eligible finishers to represent the United States in the Netherlands. Advancement requires the minimum score as well as placement; the score threshold and official scoring rules are still to be published.
05
Separate open competition
WMC Open Championship is a separate entry opportunity at Eyebrow Festival for eligible artists, not automatic Team USA selection. A Browista USA podium placing is not required. The organizer has confirmed that this opportunity can be promoted throughout the USA. Check the international category rules, admission, entry costs and booking terms before committing.

How to prepare for supervised competition
Check your selected categories and contact details in your confirmation. Contact the Browista team if anything needs correcting.
For the nine latex-based online categories, organizers will assign official sealed, individually numbered latex. Keep it sealed until an organizer instructs you to open it during your supervised session.
Prepare two devices: one for continuous Zoom supervision and a second for photographing, filming and uploading your finished work.
Plan to join Zoom at least 30 minutes before your assigned start time so an organizer can verify your identity, applicable sealed latex or live model, equipment and workspace.
Keep your hands and workspace visible on the continuous Zoom camera. Follow the live code, start and stop instructions exactly; final category timing and camera rules will come in your assignment packet.
Submit through your assigned secure upload link within the official submission window. The window and file requirements are not defined yet; do not use an unassigned or public link.
For latex-based categories, retain the original latex until organizers confirm that the results process is complete.
Keep copies of your portfolio and healed-result photos organized by technique. These are for your own preparation; official submission requirements will follow.
Make a list of questions about your category, judging, equipment and preparation for the Browista team.
Do not book non-refundable travel or purchase event-specific supplies until the specific venue in Newport Beach and category rules are confirmed.

Advancement
Placement is not the only requirement
Online entries will be submitted securely and judged anonymously. Nine categories use supervised latex online; the combined Henna / Dye / Lamination category uses Zoom-supervised live-model work.
At the California final, categories with at least five paid competitors may award first, second and third place and qualify eligible finishers to represent the United States in the Netherlands. Advancement requires the minimum score as well as placement; the score threshold and official scoring rules are still to be published.
If a category has fewer than five paid competitors, only its highest-scoring eligible competitor may receive an award and advancement opportunity, subject to the required minimum score.
Current registration policy
Review the registration terms before paying
Entry fees reserve the competitor’s category and position and are generally non-refundable. If the organizer cancels the event, the registration fee is refunded in full.
A registration may be transferred to an eligible competitor with written organizer approval when requested at least 30 days before the event. Category changes depend on available space; registrations cannot move to a future event.
If the organizer postpones the event, registration carries forward to the new date and any other available options will be communicated.
The California final date is confirmed for March 6, 2027; the specific venue in Newport Beach is still to be announced. Anyone who registers before the official event date and venue are both announced may request a full registration-fee refund or an approved transfer to another eligible competitor within seven calendar days after the specific venue is announced. This window has not started. After that window, the fee is non-refundable except if Browista cancels the event. Eligible-competitor transfers remain subject to written approval and the standard 30-day pre-event deadline outside this early window.
Included with registration
What the base fee covers
The registration fee includes the online qualifying round and California final entry if the competitor advances. Each latex-based category includes its own official numbered/sealed competition latex and one standard U.S. shipment to the competitor. Henna / Dye / Lamination uses a live model instead of latex and does not require a latex kit.
Competitors cover travel, accommodation, live models and personal supplies. Replacement latex, expedited shipping and international shipping are separate charges.
No kit has been assigned or dispatched. Category-specific equipment, model and submission instructions will follow in the official assignment packet.
