Browista USA terms.

Eligibility and price

Competitors must be at least 18 and have professional training or experience in each selected category, plus applicable licensing or certification. A competitor may enter no more than two categories. Registration costs $225 for the first category and $150 for a second, charged in U.S. dollars through the secure checkout.

What your fee includes

The fee includes entry to the supervised online qualifier and the California final if you advance. For each latex-based category, it includes one official numbered and sealed competition latex and one standard U.S. shipment. The combined Henna / Dye / Lamination category instead uses a Zoom-supervised live-model qualifier and has no latex kit. Travel, accommodations, live models and personal working supplies are not included. Replacement latex, expedited shipping and international shipping are separate costs if offered. The checkout currently supports standard U.S. shipping for latex entries.

Format and advancement

The U.S. format pairs a supervised online qualifier in January 2027 from your own studio with a California final on March 6, 2027 in Newport Beach. The specific venue, detailed schedule and category rules are still to be announced. The five highest-scoring eligible online entries in each category advance to the California final based on placement, with no separate minimum-score cutoff for this online-to-California step. If a category has at least five paid entrants, up to three eligible finishers may earn awards and the opportunity to represent the United States internationally. If fewer than five paid entrants enter, only the highest-scoring eligible competitor may receive that opportunity. For advancement from California to international representation, placement alone does not override the minimum-score requirement. The exact numerical threshold, category-specific rules, schedule, tie procedure and judging instructions have not yet been published and will be communicated before competition. International travel and separate event entry are not included in this registration.

Event date and venue

The online qualifier is in January 2027 from your own studio, and the California final is on March 6, 2027 in Newport Beach. The specific venue in Newport Beach is still to be announced. Early registrants knowingly pay before the specific venue is confirmed.

Refunds, cancellations and transfers

The California final date is confirmed for March 6, 2027; the specific venue in Newport Beach is still to be announced. Anyone who pays before the official event date and venue are both announced may request a full refund of the registration fee or an approved transfer to another eligible competitor within seven calendar days after the specific venue is announced. This window has not started. After that window, registration fees are non-refundable except if Browista cancels the event. Outside the early window, a transfer to another eligible competitor requires written Browista approval and must be requested at least 30 days before the event. A category change may be requested if space is available. Registrations cannot transfer to a future Browista event. If Browista cancels the event, the registration fee will be refunded in full. If the event is postponed or rescheduled, registration transfers to the new date; any additional options will be communicated then. Browista is not responsible for travel, lodging, airfare or other expenses incurred by competitors.

Code of conduct

Competitors must follow organizer instructions, present truthful identification and submissions, use the assigned official materials where required, keep required camera coverage during supervised rounds, stop when time is called, and submit unaltered work by the stated deadline. Early opening of sealed latex, use of unapproved materials, assistance with the artwork, filters, retouching, AI alteration, or identifying information in anonymous judging submissions may result in disqualification under the published category rules. Competitors must conduct themselves professionally and follow applicable safety and hygiene requirements.

Communications

A payment receipt, registration confirmation and essential competition updates are transactional. Marketing text messages require a separate, optional consent; payment does not create that consent. Questions and policy requests should be sent to management@browhouse.com with the registration reference. Do not send card details by email.
